Frank started playing piano at the age of 5. After four years of lessons, he gave up and took
the next half decade off. But never one to give up for good, Frank started playing the guitar during
his high school years. Frank played in several starter bands in Orlando Florida, but nothing really
took off.
After a three year stint in the military, Frank came to Norfolk, Virginia, and jumped right back into
the music scene, this time playing lead guitar for several beach bands in Virginia Beach. "I never
really gave up on the keyboards and ended up buying a Hammond C-3 and Leslie and started playing. I can
only say that nothing can replace the sound of the Hammond and Leslie in all types of music."
Since then, Frank has met and shared the stage with many top musicians, including blues great Little
Dave Thompson; Kevin Mckendrie, keyboard player for Delbert McClinton; The Breeze Band; and Bill Deal
and the Rondells, just to name a few.
Playing with MT and the Ds gives me the opportunity to play the wide variety of music that I have
always loved and have fun at the same time.
See you on the dance floor!
